順治 Shunzhi Wucai Olive Shaped Vase

A fine Transitional period wucai enameled olive shaped vase from the 順治 Shunzhi reign painted with numerous potted flowering plants including peonies and chrysanthemums. On the shoulder of the vase is a cracked ice border framed by double line borders. On the neck are further blooming flowers and rocks. The base is unglazed showing circular grooves from the potter's wheel.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 順治 Shunzhi Period (1644-1661)
Height:  8" (20.3 cm)
Condition:  Excellent except for a hairline crack running from the rim to the midsection of the vase.
