Late 乾隆 Qianlong Flambé Bottle Vase

A late 18th C bottle form vase, the apple shaped body surmounted by a wide tubular neck flaring gently to the mouth rim, covered in a rich raspberry flambé glaze streaked with patches of blue. The glaze has thinned from the neck exposing the mushroom toned crackled glaze beneath and the base is glazed white.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 乾隆 Qianlong Period (1736-1795)

Provenance: Vermeer & Griggs Collection No. 485
Condition: The foot rim is rough being chipped from the kiln floor and there are kiln grit adhesions present.
