An early 康熙 Kangxi rouleau form vase (bangchuiping) probably made at the beginning of the reign, the exterior covered in a thick deep cobalt blue glaze with numerous burst glaze bubbles apparent on the surface. The base and interior are glazed white.

Condition: Glaze flaws. Numerous burst bubbles in the blue glaze, an area where the glaze has pulled near the base and a chip on the mouth rim.
