康熙 Kangxi Peacock Blue Faceted Vase

A fine and rare peacock blue glazed faceted vase of baluster form and hexagonal section with two wider sides, the rounded shouldered body rising from a splayed foot. The tall elegant slender neck flaring at the mouth-rim flanked on either side by archaistic dragon handles. The turquoise glaze a fine crackle network darkening where it pooled at the foot-rim. The foot-rim showing evidence of kiln grit and spur marks and the inset base thinly covered with turquoise glaze.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 康熙 Kangxi Period (1662-1722)

Condition:  Excellent, restored rim chip.
