光緒 Guangxu Mirror Black Beaker Vase

A beaker, gu form vase, the well-potted cylindrical-shaped body flaring outward at the mouth with a widely splay base resting upon a stepped foot ring covered overall with a brilliant mirror black slightly orange-peeled glaze turning to brown at the mouth rim. The interior and base is glazed white.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 光緒 Guangxu Period (1875-1908)
Height: 8" (20.3cm)
Condition: One restored chip and a small old chip, a glaze fracture at the rim on the interior mouth and an unglazed area on the rim as shown.
