雍正 Yongzheng Blue & White Phoenix Saucer

A fine blue and white saucer with shallow rounded sides decorated on the exterior with two mythological phoenix birds in flight, each with outspread wings and streaming tail amongst stylized lotus, framed within line borders.  The interior painted with a single phoenix in amongst stylized lotus encircled by double line border.  A further double line border decorates the cavetto rim.  On the base centered between concentric circles is painted the six character kaishu mark of the Yongzheng Emperor.

Diameter:  6 3/16" (15.7cm)
Condition: Excellent, no chips, cracks or restoration.
