A fine small blue and white bowl (or cup) painted with the three friends of winter consisting of the pine, bamboo and prunus rendered in varying tones of blue pigment enclosed by a double line border just below the rim and another at the bottom of the bowl. The interior is undecorated and on the base written in kaishu script in underglaze blue is the mark and period of the Guangxu Emperor.
