An unusual Kangxi underglaze blue and red jar, the ribbed globular body bordered top and bottom by bands of emblems of precious objects framing three evenly spaced medallions portraying a leaping carp, various porcelain vases, and an inscription.  On the recessed base is an apocryphal mark of Chenghua within double circles.
