Kangxi Egg & Spinach Saucer Dish

A fine saucer with steeply rounded sides with everted rim with a flattened raised band on the outer edge set upon a wide ring foot covered on both the interior and exterior including the base with a brilliant splashed three color (sancai) glaze known as "tiger skin pattern" (Hu pi ban) better known as "egg & spinach" glaze applied directly onto the biscuit which has been coated with a creamy slip and then covered with a clear glaze. Two stickers on the base from the British Antique Dealers Association.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 康熙 Kangxi Period (1662-1722)
Diameter:  7 1/4" (18.4cm)  Height: 1 1/2" (3.9cm)
Condition: Excellent.
