A late 18th C double gourd form vase of small size, the ovoid shaped body surmounted by a similar smaller bulb with flared mouth rim covered in a rich raspberry flambé glaze streaked with patches of blue. The glaze has thinned at the mouth rim exposing the mushroom toned crackled glaze beneath. The base is unglazed showing the swirl marks from the wheel and the foot rim is rough with glaze over-run and there are kiln grit adhesions present.
