乾隆 Qianlong Large Sacrificial Blue Dish

A stunning and rare large Imperial platter/dish with rounded flaring sides raised on a high ring foot covered entirely in a sacrificial blue glaze of deep blackish blue with an aubergine (purplish) tint. The base with an incised kaishu six character mark and period of Qianlong inscribed in the biscuit under the blue glaze within concentric circles in horizontal format.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 乾隆 Qianlong Period (1736-1795)

Condition: Wear on glaze over raised burst bubble in center of dish, restored rim chip.
