乾隆 Qianlong Clair de Lune Vase with Molded Decoration

A vase of bulbous form, the neck rising to an outward rolled rim raised on a tall splayed foot with elephant-head handles holding pendant rings. The body is decorated with archaistic bronze style molded decorative motifs, the central frieze circumscribing the body featuring taotie masks. The entire vase covered in a sky blue clair de lune glaze. Centered on the base written in zhuanshu script is the seal mark and period of the 乾隆帝 Qianlong Emperor. 
清代 Qing Dynasty, 乾隆 Qianlong Period (1736-1795)
Height:  10 3/4" (27.3cm)
Condition:  There is a glaze fracture on one side of one handle.
