乾隆 Small Qianlong Copper Red Saucer

A small Qianlong saucer dish, the shallow sides rise gently to an everted rim raised on a ring foot. The interior and exterior are covered in a rich copper red glaze darkening at and stopping just short of the foot rim. The rim and the bottom edge of the foot rim are left white. On the base in underglaze blue is the zhuanshu seal mark and of the period of the Qianlong Emperor.

Provenance:  Vermeer & Griggs Collection No. 136
Condition: Very good with the exception of a small frit on the interior of the foot rim.
