乾隆 Qianlong Blue Lotus Flower Dish

A large dish molded in the form of an open lotus flower, the foliated edge simulating petals. In the center of the dish the stamens of the flower are carved with the petal of the flower swirling outward ending in the foliate edge. The reverse is also decorated as the bottoms of the petals. The base is covered in a clear glaze and unmarked.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 乾隆 Qianlong Period (1736-1795)
Diameter:  9 3/8" (23.8cm)
Condition:  Minor surface abrasions and two tiny glaze flakes at the rim.
