Late 乾隆 Qianlong Small Flambé Bottle Vase

A late 18th C bottle form vase of small size, the apple shaped body surmounted by a tall tubular neck covered in a rich raspberry flambé glaze streaked with patches of blue.  The glaze has thinned from the neck exposing the mushroom toned crackled glaze beneath.  The base is unglazed showing the swirl marks from the wheel and the foot rim is rough being chipped from the kiln floor and there are kiln grit adhesions present.
