Pair of 乾隆 Qianlong Copper-Red Glazed Bowls

A pair of Imperial copper-red glazed bowls each well potted with gently rounded sides covered on the exterior with a rich densely bubbled brilliant raspberry copper-red glaze that drains from the rim leaving the edge white and stopping short of the foot where the color deepens to a dark strawberry hue. The interior and base glazed white. The zhuanshu seal mark and period of Qianlong painted in underglaze blue appears centered on the base.

Condition: Excellent, kiln impurities in the white glaze of the interior of one bowl at the rim and in the well of the bowl. Custom padded box and modern rosewood stands included.
