康熙 Kangxi Gilt Powder Blue Covered Vase

A Kangxi period covered vase of pear shaped form, the globular body surmounted by a waisted neck rising to a slightly everted rim, flanked by two molded dragon handles, covered overall with a powder blue glaze, with remains of gilt decoration of floral sprays within shaped reserves around the body and phoenix medallions below a diaper band and pendant lappet border around the neck, the domed cover with a bud-form knob.
