康熙 Kangxi Copper Red Bottle Vase

A fine elegantly potted Kangxi bottle of globular form with a tall neck and slightly flared mouth. The body covered in an even toned copper red glaze extending to the mouth-rim. The interior is glazed white. The glaze stopping slightly short of the bottom exhibiting burning of the paste. The bi-formed base is left unglazed revealing turning marks and the compact biscuit.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 康熙 Kangxi Period (1662-1722)
Height: 9" (22.9cm)
Condition: Excellent. Potting flaw on the inside edge of the bi formed foot.
