康熙 Kangxi Lavender Blue Glazed Bottle

A fine elegantly potted Kangxi bottle of tall slender form, the sides angle outwards rising to the rounded shoulder tapering inwards to form the long neck with a slightly flared mouth. The body covered in an even toned lavender cobalt blue glaze extending to the mouth-rim. The interior is glazed white. The slightly convex base left unglazed exposing the compact biscuit. A nearly identical vase with darker blue glaze is illustrated in the book, Minjian micang Zhongguo gutaoci jianshang: Xiande jingshe cangpin xiezhen (Appreciation of Hidden Treasures of Ancient Chinese Ceramics Selected from the Collection at Xiande Abode),  Pei Guanghui, plate 61, page 39, published 2001, ISBN 7-5393-1064-2.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 康熙 Kangxi Period (1662-1722)
Height: 7 5/16" (20.2cm)
Condition: Two burst glaze bubbles. one near the base and another mid-way up the side. Potting flaw on foot.
