Large 康熙 Kangxi Copper Red Brushwasher

A large brushwasher, the wide mouthed shallow bowl of compressed bulbous form with an incurving lipped rim resting on a ring foot and recessed base.  The body covered in an even toned copper red glaze that darkens slightly at the rim edge and again at the foot.  The interior and base are covered in a clear glaze and the paste shows burning where the glaze meets the biscuit on the foot rim.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 康熙 Kangxi Period (1662-1722)

Condition:  Excellent, no chips, cracks or restorations.
