A bottle vase of elegant form, the hexagonal lobed pear
shaped body sits atop a widely splayed foot and rises gently to a flared
galleried mouth rim. The "S" form handles shaped as dog heads with long
curving tongues flank either side of the facetted neck, the whole covered in a
deep qiepi zi (aubergine-eggplant
skin purple) purple glaze. The interior is only partly glazed
and the concave base and foot-rim are unglazed.
