Pair of Small 光緒 Guangxu Yellow Enameled Dishes

A pair of small shallow dishes with rounded sides and flared rim raised on a tall foot, the interior and exterior covered in a lemon yellow, orange peel (ju-pi) textured enamel. The interior is incised with a single five clawed dragon amidst flames chasing a flaming pearl. The base is glazed white and centered on the bottom written in kaishu script in underglaze blue is the six character mark and period of the Guangxu Emperor.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 光緒 Guangxu Period (1875-1908)
Diameter: 3 3/8" (8.6cm)
