宋代 Song Qingbai Foliate Shallow Peony Dish

A fine Song Qingbai shallow foliated dish, the rim shaped to form six petals, raised on a short ring foot decorated with carved and combed design of a peony flower covered in a pale blue green colored glaze. The base is unglazed and the biscuit is burned in the firing. The dish likely made at the Jingdezheng kilns in Jiangxi province.

Condition: Excellent, minor kiln grit on the base.
