宋代 Song Ding Foliate Shallow Dish

A fine Song Dingyao foliate edged rim, six lobed shallow dish, flat base, covered entirely in a creamy ivory colored glaze with a fine crazing and bearing no decoration. The dish likely made at the Quyang kilns in Hebei province. The shape is probably based on Tang dynasty silver mallow flower form dishes.
Northern 宋代 Song Dynasty (1127-1279)
Diameter:  5 1/2" (14cm)
Condition: Excellent, several spots of kiln grit on the interior, firing crack on the bottom.
