宋代 Song Ding Lotus Pond Bowl

A fine Song Dingyao bowl of conical form raised on a small shallow foot, the interior with molded decoration of a lotus pond with numerous lotus plants in flower and a single swimming fish covered in a creamy ivory colored glaze with a fine craquelure and typical tear markings on the exterior. Both the foot rim and rim of the bowl are unglazed.

Condition: Excellent, several spots of glaze pulls on the interior, firing nick on rim.
