A fine Dehua Blanc de Chine figure of an ascetic seated in lalitasana, on a rocky crag with books stacks on an outcropping, his right arm resting on his knee. He is  wearing a flowing robe draped over one shoulder. The robe is open at the chest to reveal his bony chest with the ribs clearly showing, his one leg crossed under the raised knee. His face lowered with a benign expression all under a milky white glossy glaze.
