A 17th C Dehua censer based on an archaic bronze form censer banded by three bowstring ribs decorated with an archaistic design motif incised within the central border. The body is raised on three bracket feet and covered in a creamy translucent white glaze. The interior and base are unglazed. There are remnants of an inscription in the interior base.
