雍正 Yongzheng Large Foliated Celadon Lotus Dish

A large 18th century celadon dish of flower form with foliate edge, the interior center carved with nine spiral petals radiating from a central lotus seed pod to appear as a large lotus flower bloom, the exterior sides carved with nine larger petals all covered in a somewhat mottled brilliant sea foam celadon glaze deepening in tone in the carved recesses. The base covered in a clear glaze and exhibiting kiln burn marks.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 雍正 Yongzheng Period (1723-1735)
Diameter:  14 1/2" (36.9 cm)
Provenance:  Vermeer& Griggs Collection No. 440
Condition: Excellent, small firing crack on exterior wall.
