A blue and white small fish bowl of tapered ovoid form with a rolled rim and raised rib decorated with scrolling blossoming lotus between a pendant spear point border and a stylized lotus petal border. Beneath the mouth rim is a border of cross-hatch basket weave design typically seen on many Kangxi wares. The foot rim is glazed but the base is left in the biscuit.

Condition: Excellent, some minute glaze scratches on the glaze surface from use and fissures in the biscuit of the base.
