光緒 Guangxu Pair of Blue & White Floral Bowls

A fine pair of blue and white bowls painted simply with three floral bouquets consisting of peonies and periwinkles delicately rendered in varying tones of blue pigment all beneath a spearpoint border with a single line border just below the rim and another at the bottom of the bowl. The interior is undecorated and on the base written in kaishu script is the mark and period of the Guangxu Emperor.
清代 Qing Dynasty, 光緒 Guangxu Period (1875-1908)
 Height:  2 1/4" (5.7 cm)  Diameter:  5" (12.7 cm)
Condition:  Excellent.
The pattern of these bowls closely matches item #BW-259.
